I put embossed, cut out lace on her dress and added a touch of black
to her shoe that has a little heal. Otherwise, the card is
totally white. For the frosting on the cakes, I also embossed
and cut out tiny bits.
This card is the result of a client's request. They saw my
Pop-Up Bride and groom and asked for the little girl instead.
Here's to the little girl in all of us- ladies!

Another Mother's Day Card. As I like Victorian things, I could
not resist making this card.
There are some Art minds that claim glitter should never be used on
a card and charcole drawings should never ever be smudged. I
like glitter at times, so we'll throw advice to the wind.
.
On the inside of the card I put:
'May today be
as special
as you are."
I stuck a feather on as was typical of Victorian cards to have
embellishments.
I had saved feathers from a dust mop years ago and finally got to
use them all up.
Wishing you feathers in you cap and maybe on your shoes so you can
fly.

The card saying is:
"To My Mother,
If this World you'd cut in two,
You'd find it filled
with Love for you."
Had to re-do the squirrel globe pictures as the originals were
blurry

For the Paper Pop-Up / Rocking chair lover Designed and made in my
Studio.
It is free to make...also available to make free at my website:

Have fun.
After you build it, you can put a small teddy bear or toy in it.
There is an ole' wives tale- It is bad luck to rock a life size
rocking chair with no one in it.
Why not have a greeting card that you can re use from the start?
I created a poem to go a long with the card to encourage folks to
pass the card along. All they have to do is change the secret
message in the flowers before they send it to someone new.
Probably one of my favorite designs, thought I had posted these
before. I originally designed this as I was tired of the 10
piece Pop-Up Globes. This one is only 4 pieces. A thin
gold thread is tied to the outer frame.
There are more birds returning- summer is soon to arrive.
With the re-surge of Victorian themed jewelry, recycling go
green, I just had to make some Steampunk jewelry.
Steampunk can have some or all of these elements:
Jules Verne
Victorian
Artists reaction to mass production
recycled
ephemera
