Ever heard of a Flying Pig?

They have wings of course, no Stealth version as yet.

Facts about them:
- They cannot fly by themselves, need a little person to steer them.
- Have golden hooves.
- When you see one, you will usually see a rainbow at the same time.
- Always wear a hat and gloves when it is cold out- boots, too.
- Avoids sugar, that is how they stay a healthy size, like the little person that drives them.
-They do not swear.
- When they grumble it sounds more like a snort.

Wishing you rainbows,

The Hot Chocolate Pot needed to be added to my Victorian Tea set, as did the Tea Bag covers.

I added 18 kt gold leaf embellishments to the Hot Chocolate Pot as the cut out intricate swirls did not show up well.

Working on a Flying Pig globe card, and maybe a Flying frog also.  Thought of doing a "Flying series" of things that do not usually fly but not sure there is a call for it.  My Mother-in-Law used to collect Frogs so I will probably do a Magical frog with wings.

Brrr..off to get some Hot Chocolate- with marshmellows,
Petrina

The front of the Tea bag holder:
"A secret message
Inside for you,
To help your day,
before it's through.
TEA    "

Back cover of the Tea Bag cover:
"  TEA
Tea for you
makes life more fun,
Always before
a day is done.

Take head to the message,
There's meaning within,
To help with the day
And give you a grin."

I created the quick poems as the Tea bag covers looked empty without them.

The image of the 3 girls having Tea is from an 1800's Advertisement from Duryea Company.

My grandfather sold Tea from a Tea Wagon drawn by his horse "Nell" in Rochester, NY.
He gave out sample packs of Coffee to encourage sales.

I added an embossed cut out edge to the flap- and used recycled paper for the one in the background.  The recycled paper one is my favorite as it has a textured paper look.

I give these Tea Bag holders as a little thank you gift to clients.
Don't you just love getting a little gift when you buy something?

Wishing you a lovey day,
Petrina

St. Patrick's Day- coming up soon.

Wonder who started the thought that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

Then there is the Shamrock, the sweetest of the baby flowers.  Maybe one of my favorites after the Forget me Not.

Wishing you luck whether you find a four leaf clover or not.

Finally got these designs done.  I do not like the photo staging part as it sure seems to take longer to do all that, then to design the cards.  I think I just like complaining today.  Do you ever have days like that?

Almost done designing the Hot Chocolate Pot- this one is too much fun!

Wishing you fun.
Petrina

This Tea Party thing is getting way out of hand- and I am having too much fun with it.
Created some for a client so these are drastically changed from my original designs.

The smaller pot I designated as a Coffee Pot.  My Grandfather sold from his Tea Wagon.  His horses' name was Nell.
Grandfather would give out Coffee sample with Tea sales, in hopes of increasing Coffee drinkers.
Imagine having to get a horse ready before you go to work?  I have all I can do to get myself ready.

The Tea set designs are all mine.  However, the image of the 3 girls having a Tea party is from an 1800's Victorian advertisement from Duryea Company.

TEA
A secret message
inside for you,
To inspire your day
before it’s through.

Tea for you
makes life more fun,
Always before
a day is done.

Take head to the message
there’s meaning within,
To help with your day
And give you a grin.

Wishing you Tea and grins,
Petrina
