Burned my left hand badly.  OK, never put a plate on a burner, that is the wrong way to warm a plate.  Sure I was not paying attention.  For now I am painting instead of cutting paper- until the hand heals a little better and I can hold paper again with my left hand.

You can hold a stencil down with your elbow if you need to.  I could not get a good way to hold paper and cut it the way I wanted.
This is the result of a 5 page stencil..  You can soak the muslin in Tea to give it the aged look.

Happy painting...

I was sure I was finished designing the Tea Set- Victorian Style. I am so glad I was wrong.
The requests I received from viewers:
Tea Cakes Stand - with lots of Cream cakes. Request is from Silverest170
Turrine .  Request from VPalmer
Welsh Dresser filled with the Tea set. Request from V Palmer

I use recycled paper.
One viewer asked if she needed to get collector's Insurance on the entire set.

The only Collectors I could think of are my Landfill collectors that come around on a truck.  I have enough scraps of paper all over my desk and floor- so tomorrow is cleaning day.  They are not called rubbish collectors or Garbage men anymore.

I know it is time to clean when I can see more scraps of paper than rug, which is too often.

Whistle while you work- life is good,
Petrina

Finishing up on the Tri Fold series for now

Shamrock pulls out with a secret inspirational message.  I put a different secret message in each card.

Any inspirational messages you would like to share?
Happy secrets,
Petrina

A viewer with the pen name 'Sugarplum" had suggested I add a creamer and sugar bowl to the Victorian Tea set.  Thank you 'Sugarplum' !

We cannot have a Tea without them.  I added a spoon rest to the sugar bowl with a paper spoon that dangles waiting for someone to pick it up.

Remember, add a spoonful of tea for each cup...and one for the Pot was another suggestion.

Tea time- see you soon,
Petrina

Having a good time creating variations of my Tri-Fold Card.

The cat asked to be black but that was for Halloween, so he ended up something else.
I do not like the way the dog turned out and have a new sketch...just need to cut it out.

The fence reminds me when we played hide and seek.  I was the smallest and last in the pack of seekers, and half way over the fence I thought it was a monster behind me- scared to death, my clothes caught on the fence.  No monster- just the wicked lady from next door.  She claimed she saw I needed help getting over the fence.

Wishing you nice neighbors,
Petrina
