Looking out my back window, there is a heart shaped bird's nest in the tree.
A little early for Valentine's Day, don't you think?

Run rabbit run Valentine Pop Up Globe

Alice inspired.  Run Rabbit run from the hearts.  The weather vane tries to point the way and no matter which way the rabbit runs, the hearts are there.

Victorian flavor Valentine

Think I should add more red hearts?

Card folds flat to mail.
As the card is opened, the globe pops up and the hearts flow through the globe.
Pull the tab on the lower right and the globe opens up fully.

I had seen this spiral effect on other Pop up cards and wanted to see what it would look like if I added a 3d globe to the card.

It needs lace or something as it is not as spectacular as I had been dreaming about.

Working on a steam punk themed card. Oh what fun!

What are you up to?

Happy New Year!

I designed these before Christmas but did not have time for PICS until today.  I got a wonderful gold leaf pen 18kt and inked in the Cross on the Church and the Angels halo.  Both fold flat to mail.

Signed a deal with Amazon..one New Years resolution done.

The Angel was inspired by a Danish window in the Business District.  It looked to be about 10 feet tall paper- just amazing and no reference to the Artist.  Oh, those wonderful Danes.

Have been reading about Boxing Day...and the reason it is called that.
A day to give to service folks in your life a boxed gift-  and less fortunate folks.

I'll need to get something for the Postal person and get things together for Goodwill.  Cannot forget the Vet.

Best wishes for a great 2009,
Petrina
