This one rocks...literally, no music here.  I haven't decided if it needs to continue to rock while under the glass dome, then I would not need to secure it to the wood base.  I'm working on finishing a matching card that folds flat to mail, almost done.



Joined the Movable Book Society and hope to be able to go to one of their events.

Had a wonderful time teaching a Pop-Up class at a local Community Center.  I was thrilled -everyone completed their own version of my Pop-Up Dog House card.  Most of the class was ages 5 - 12 and there were a couple of Seniors there also.  It was great to see their proud faces as they left with the card they made.

Next to make a book mark, maybe a Pop-Up, or mechanical one...both?

At first I wanted the carriage to pop-up when the card is opened.  Then changed it to show the wording on the face of the card itself.

then added a tab-click -in support system
Makes me want to create my own train.  That will have to wait until I complete the projects at hand.

There are a lot of song birds here.  I've fed them in past years and end up with more weeds below the bird feeder than anyone would want.  They eat well- from the Farmer's field next door, so I stopped feeding them & I end up with less weeds.

Working on a Soldier book, but need to finish the Pop-Up bicycles first. 

Wonder what life would be like if we only wanted to do one thing at a time- it's more fun trying to do 2 or more things at the same time and makes me laugh at myself sometimes.

Making the Wedding card Pop-Up themed cards...finally done.

Finally got the detail on the dress, embossed and cut out to look like lace.  The Bride and Groom were too big, at first, so I had to make them a bit smaller.


I tried a variation of the first set up to include names for the Bride and Groom.

I think I'll re-work the wedding bells on the front of the card to include some hearts and more cut out texture.
The bells and cake pop-up as the card opens.

The frosting in all the cards is embossed and cut out to look like lace frosting,  I'm not sure if I want to add the Bride and Groom names in the cake.

Yippie, done.  Wish I was done with this cold.  cough, cough...it's so distracting.
